GSA Contract Mods & Maintenance

Your GSA Schedule award is the starting line, not the finish. We keep your contract compliant, current, and competitive — so it keeps producing for the full 20 years.

Client satisfaction

Most schedule holders don't lose their contract to competition — they lose it to neglect. Missed mass mods, outdated pricing, an aging catalog, and late reporting quietly put your contract at risk of cancellation, and an out-of-date price list makes buyers pass you over. Maintenance isn't glamorous, but it's what keeps the contract paying off.

What's included

Everything from eligibility to award, handled.

01

Contract Modifications

Additions and deletions of products or services, price adjustments, administrative changes, and terms & conditions updates — prepared, submitted, and tracked to acceptance.

02

Mass Mod Review & Acceptance

We review each GSA mass modification, tell you in plain language what it changes, and process acceptance on time, every time.

03

Reporting & Compliance

Sales reporting and Industrial Funding Fee submissions (including TDR reporting), filed accurately and on time.

04

Catalog & Transition Support

Price list updates, SIP-to-FCP catalog transitions, and TDR opt-in mods, so your offerings look current where buyers actually search.

Before you start

This service is for businesses that already hold a GSA Schedule — whether we won it with you or you're bringing an existing contract to us. If your schedule has drifted (missed mods, stale pricing, overdue reports), that's normal, and it's fixable. If you don't have a schedule yet, start with our GSA Schedule application services.

The process

A clear path, start to finish.

1 - Contract health review

We audit your schedule's current state: pending mass mods, pricing, catalog, and reporting status.

2 - Maintenance plan

You get a clear picture of what requires fixing now and what needs attention as we move ahead.

3 - Catch-up & clean-up

We file the overdue items and bring the contract current.

4 - Ongoing maintenance

Mods, reporting, and mass mods handled as they arise, without you chasing deadlines.

5 - Growth support

As your business evolves, we add offerings and adjust pricing so the contract grows with you.

Why Heron Writing & Consulting

A specialist who does the work with you — not a call center.

I focus on helping small businesses pursuing federal work. You'll work directly with the consultant doing the writing — not a rotating account team.

Frequently asked

Questions

What happens if I ignore a mass mod?

Unaccepted mass mods can block other modifications and, left long enough, put your contract out of compliance and at risk of cancellation.

What is TDR?

Transactional Data Reporting — GSA's system for reporting sales at the transaction level. There was a mandatory opt-in released to all GSA Vendors via Refresh 31.

Can you help with a GSA schedule you didn't win?

Yes. A contract health review is how we start with every existing schedule, no matter who prepared the original offer.

How often does a schedule need attention?

Sales reporting is now a monthly requirement for TDR, and pricing/catalog updates should happen whenever your commercial business changes.
